At Taylor Community, we recognize that additional support with everyday tasks and activities may be helpful as Residents age and their circumstances change. Assisted Living is designed to meet the Resident’s individual needs and help the Resident stay active and healthy for as long as possible. Residents here, and their families, enjoy the peace of mind that comes from living in a friendly, safe, and secure home ideally suited to their interests and needs.
Assisted Living Residents benefit greatly from the social interaction that comes from living among others. While all Assisted Living Residents at Taylor Community have their own private suites, they also enjoy many opportunities for recreation, socialization, and companionship with other Residents of the Taylor Home and Ledgeview.

Assisted Living residents enjoy three healthy and delicious meals daily in our Dining Room as well as regularly scheduled coffee hours and other socials. The needs and wants of each resident are unique and so the individual care and services vary. Services available, if needed or desired, include laundering of personal clothing and linens, weekly housekeeping, assistance with bathing and grooming, supervision of medication (if needed),, and coordination of medical appointments if desired. Local transportation is available for appointments, shopping, worship services, special events and other needs and interests. |
Residents have many opportunities to take advantage of the addition al amenities, special events and activities on-site.
There are numerous opportunities to join in with others for exercise classes, cards, cribbage or other games, music programs, computer classes, reading groups, and trips and other special events to name a few. |

While there are many opportunities to socialize and spend time with friends and neighbors, each resident also enjoys the peace and privacy of their own apartment suites.
