What is a Continuing Care Community?

It’s peace of mind in a community uniquely designed to consider both your present desires and your future needs. Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) allow seniors to "age in place," with flexible accommodations that are designed to meet their health and housing needs as these needs change. Fortunately, today there are innovative senior living arrangements that offer the security of long-range planning while allowing you the freedom to maintain your independence. Continuing Care Retirement Communities, such as the Taylor Community, include independent living, assisted living and nursing home level care, so seniors can stay in the same community if or as their housing needs change over time.

What Kind of Investment Is Required?

That really depends on where you choose to live, the level of care, the services provided, and the terms of the agreement you select. There are numerous options to consider in selecting the one that is just right for you. In some cases, residents pay an entrance fee and a monthly fee. In other instances, you pay only a monthly fee with no entrance fee required. Entrance fees for a Lifestyle agreement are always 90% refundable. Continuing Care entrance fees decline in the refundable portion over time (After 50 months there is no refund of entrance fees with a Continuing Care Contract). The important thing is that you explore your options in detail. Current rates and the terms of the various options are published and available in writing from our Admissions office. We strongly recommend that you call to set up an appointment to review your many options and get answers to all of your important questions. To arrange a visit, please Contact Us.
